Trailhead Parking

Excellent free parking arrangements can be found at the Lake Delta State Park, located north of the City of Rome on Route 46N. The club has a trail that starts right in the park, providing great access to our trail system. After entering the park, drive straight ahead to the large parking lot at the beachfront. The trail is located on the left (south) side of the lot. The state also has a warming room on the beach opened specifically for the use of snowmobilers and other outdoor enthusiasts. |
2009-10 Trail Changes
| Fortunately, we have few trail changes this
year. A section of trail has been reopened along Beartown Road, eliminating
a large section of road riding, and a curve has been rerouted in Ava, which
is a big improvement. The large field behind Stewarts, at Stokes Corners,
has a new twist in it due to an area of tilled land. Please follow the
signs.
