SAFETY COURSE: We will again be offering the safety course for youth age 10 to 18. The dates and times are:
                      Friday – 2 Dec 05 – 6 PM to 9:30 PM
                      Saturday - 3 Dec 05 – 9 AM –1:30 PM
                                          Pizza and soda will be served upon course completion.

The Safety Course will be taught by club member John Beggs at our groomer building at 9183 Sly Hill Road, Ava. Sly Hill is off the Stokes-Westernville Road. Class is limited to 40 students and registrants must be 10 years old by course date. PRE-REGISTRATION IS A MUST. Contact Mr. Beggs at 337-0359 no later than 28 November 05 to register for this course and to obtain directions to the course location. If no answer, leave your name and number and he will get back to you.

Election of Officers: Election of officers will be held at the November meeting. Please attend and let your voice be heard.

Trail Work - Help Needed: Call Mark Destito at 336-1727 if you can help in any way to get the trails ready for opening. Volunteers will meet at the groomer building weekends at 9 AM. However, if volunteers are available during the week, those can be scheduled at their convenience. Let’s get some new people here to make this enormous task less of a burden to the few faithful members who have come forth in the past.

Club Christmas Party/Auction: The Christmas party/auction has been scheduled for Saturday, 7 January 2006 at the Colonial Inn, Turin Road. Social hour at 6:30 PM, with a buffet dinner to follow. A fundraising auction will be held after the dinner. More info on the party will be provided in the next newsletter and at the December meeting. Since this is the only fundraiser planned at this time, we would appreciate your donation of items for this auction. Whether or not you plan on attending the party, you can still donate an item. Also, anyone can come to the auction and bid without attending the party. Your support would be appreciated.

Club Memberships Due: Your club membership expired 30 Sep 05. Thanks to loyal members who have renewed and the new people who have joined us. Dues remain at $25.00, which includes the NYSSA membership. Renew by the end of November to avoid being dropped from membership. We don’t want to lose any one! You can print out the membership form from this website using the links at the bottom of this page.
