Dear Members:

With the continuing warm, summer-like weather, it is difficult to focus on snowmobiling and winter. However, it is predicted that this will soon change and a lot of work lies ahead to prepare for the season.

We are still trying to iron out a couple landowner issues. I would like to add that many landowner issues are a result of complaints of loud mufflers and reckless driving. If this continues to be a problem, more and more trails will be lost. For the sake of the sport, it is our hope that snowmobilers will realize what problems their actions can cause.

We would like to hear from more volunteers for trail work. Call Mark Destito at 337-1727 with your name and number and times/days of your availability. We would like to have a larger pool of workers that we can call upon.

Nomination of Officers : Nomination of officers will be held at our October meeting. Election will take place at the November meeting.

Club Memberships Due : Your club membership expired 30 Sep 05. Thanks to the many members who renewed in September and welcome five new members to the club. Fee remains at $25.00 which includes the NYSSA membership. You can print out the membership form from this website using the links at the bottom of this page.

Schoff Polaris Relocating : Schoff Polaris of West Branch is relocating to the former Volkswagen sales building on Elmer Hill Road just off Route 26 (behind the Colonial Inn). It is hoped that the move will be completed by the end of October. The new phone number will be 336-4817. Look for the grand opening and a much larger showroom and work area.

TC Riders Grass Drags : Sunday, 9 Oct 2005 - 3 miles east of Camden on Route 69. Racing starts at 11 AM sharp. $5.00 per person (under 12 free with paid adult). Food and vendors. More info @ www.tcriders.com
